ACCA launch of F5-F9 Computer Based Exams in September 2016

Accountancyschool.ie is working in partnership with ACCA to support the introduction of session Computer Based Exams (session CBEs) for papers F5 – F9, starting with the September 2016 exam sitting in Dublin.
The CBEs have been developed in consultation with students, learning providers and employers to ensure they reflect the modern working environment. Students utilise word processing and spreadsheet programmes to answer questions, developing the right skills in order to become a modern finance professional.

What is the exam format?

A mix of objective test and OT cases which are auto-marked, and constructed response (long question) question types where you have to produce your own narrative and numerical answers – which require expert/human marking.

CBE exam slots for Accountancyschool students

We have a number exam slots available for any Accountancyschool.ie student who wishes to sit their September F5-F9 exam on a computer in Dublin. The exams will run on the same date and times as the paper based exams, but will be sat in a computer room. Please note that the exams are not held at Accountancyschool.ie but in an ACCA centre to be advised.

How can Accountancyschool.ie help me?

We are running courses for the September sitting at our Dublin campus. These courses will teach the full syllabus but also incorporate training to deal with the CBE element of the exam. The courses are also available live online and recorded for your convenience.

Taking a CBE session exam for F5-F9 in Dublin

If you would like to take part in the launch sitting you will need register for an accountancyschool.ie course for the September 2016 sitting and select the CBE option.
We will assiste with the process of your exam registration by collecting your details and passing to ACCA. You will then pay for your exam through your ACCA account.
